How does the Job Match Tailor work?
The tool sends your resume text and the target job description to an AI model trained to think like a recruiter. It compares the language in both documents, scores the overall match out of 100, lists keywords from the job description that are missing from your resume, and rewrites your weakest bullet points to better reflect the responsibilities and skills the role calls for.
Will this replace my whole resume?
No. It targets your weakest bullet points (up to six) and your summary, giving you before/after text you can copy directly into the Resume Builder. You stay in control of what you keep, edit, or discard.
How many times can I use it per day?
The tool is free with a daily usage limit per person to keep the service sustainable. If you hit the limit, you'll see a message telling you when it resets (midnight UTC).

Yes. It's free to use up to a daily limit per person, with no sign-up required to try it.
Does it store my resume or the job description?
No. Your text is sent to the AI model for a single response and is not stored, unless you're signed in and choose to load a saved resume, in which case only the resume you already saved is used.
What's a good match score?
Scores above 75 suggest strong alignment with the job description. Lower scores highlight an opportunity to add relevant keywords and reframe your experience, not necessarily that you're unqualified.
Why do I need at least 200 characters in the job description?
Very short job descriptions don't contain enough detail for a meaningful comparison. Paste the full posting, including responsibilities and requirements, for the best results.
How is this different from the ATS Checker?
ATS Checker scores formatting and parsing compatibility using deterministic rules, no AI. Job Match Tailor uses AI to rewrite content specifically for one job description.
