Full preview of the Brief resume template

The Brief template borrows its structure from a legal brief: a centered, small-caps name sits above a double rule, and every section that follows is numbered with a roman numeral — "I. EXPERIENCE", "II. EDUCATION" — that re-sequences automatically if you reorder your sections. Each entry uses a hanging indent, with the position, employer, and dates in parentheses set flush left, and every supporting bullet or detail indented beneath it, echoing how citations sit beneath a case heading. The page stays entirely monochrome, with ragged-right body text and no accent color anywhere, for a formal, no-nonsense document. That numbered, indented structure makes Brief a natural fit for legal and government roles where formatting precision is itself a signal. Every field is inline-editable in the browser, and the exact same layout is used when you export to PDF.
